ABOUT THE OWNER

Kelly Trotz has been passionate about design since a young girl, drawing on extra blueprints her mother brought home from working for a builder. She began pursuing her education in interior design after finding architecture wasn’t the best fit for her. She wanted to work with people on a more personal level to bring all aspects of living together for people. Kelly lives in Winfield, neighbor of Wheaton, in the western suburbs of Chicago. She enjoys spending time with friends and strolling through the Wheaton French Market for inspiration.
She studied at the College of DuPage where she was recognized for multiple awards including an NKBA Design Charrette Competition and placing third in the ASID Design Summit student competition. She also held the office of president of the student chapter of the NKBA at College of DuPage. Kelly has a certification in computer applications and kitchen and bath in addition to her A.A.S. Degree.
Kelly’s specialty design passions include universal design, lighting design and kitchen & bath design. Bringing a wide array of knowledge to each project to truly make each home function the best for it’s owner.
